Delivering world-class sports betting and live casino experiences to Indonesian players since 2020
kobo89 was founded in 2020 with a clear mission: to provide Indonesian players with a world-class online gaming platform that combines international standards with deep understanding of local preferences. We recognized that Indonesian bettors deserved better than generic offshore sites that treated them as an afterthought. From day one, we committed to building a platform specifically tailored to the Indonesian market while maintaining the highest standards of security, fairness, and customer service.
Our name, kobo89, reflects our core values. In Indonesian slang, "kobo" suggests something authentic and trustworthy, while "89" represents our founding philosophy of being just one step away from perfection (90) — we are always striving to improve. This mindset drives everything we do, from the sports betting markets we offer to the speed of our withdrawals via BCA, BRI, BNI, and Mandiri. We understand that Indonesian players have unique needs: they want comprehensive coverage of BRI Liga 1 alongside EPL and La Liga, they prefer Asian Handicap betting over traditional 1X2 markets, and they demand local payment methods that work instantly.
Since our launch, kobo89 has grown to serve thousands of Indonesian players across Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan, Bandung, Bali, and beyond. We offer an extensive portfolio covering sports betting (with a focus on football — from Persija Jakarta to Liverpool FC), live casino games powered by Evolution Gaming and Ezugi, online slots from Pragmatic Play and PG Soft, togel (Indonesia's traditional numbers lottery), sabung ayam (live cockfighting), and other popular games. Our platform is fully optimized for mobile devices, recognizing that most Indonesian users access online gaming through their smartphones. Whether you are watching a Champions League match at 02:00 WIB or playing live baccarat during your lunch break, kobo89 delivers a seamless experience.
What sets kobo89 apart is our unwavering commitment to Indonesian player satisfaction. We employ native Indonesian-speaking customer support agents available 24/7 via live chat, WhatsApp, and email. We process withdrawals in minutes, not days, because we understand that fast access to your winnings matters. We offer competitive odds that rival the best international bookmakers, particularly on Asian Handicap markets which Indonesian bettors prefer. We provide generous VIP rewards programs with cashback, exclusive bonuses, and personal account managers for our most loyal players. And we take responsible gaming seriously, offering self-exclusion tools, deposit limits, and support resources to help players who may be struggling.
kobo89 operates under an international gaming license and complies with industry-standard security protocols. We use SSL encryption to protect all transactions, partner only with certified game providers, and undergo regular audits to ensure our games meet fairness standards. While online gambling occupies a legal grey area in Indonesia, we are transparent about our offshore status and encourage players to understand their local laws and gamble responsibly. We strictly enforce our 21+ age policy and have zero tolerance for underage gambling.
Looking ahead, kobo89 remains dedicated to continuous improvement. We regularly add new game providers, expand our sports betting coverage to include emerging leagues and markets, and invest in technology to make our platform faster and more reliable. We listen to player feedback and implement changes based on what our community tells us. Our goal is not just to be another online gambling site — we want to be Indonesia's most trusted and beloved gaming platform, known for treating players fairly, paying out quickly, and always putting the player experience first. Whether you are a casual bettor placing a small wager on BRI Liga 1 or a serious player chasing high-stakes tournaments, kobo89 welcomes you to join our growing community of Indonesian gaming enthusiasts.
The principles that guide everything we do at kobo89
We protect your data with bank-grade SSL encryption and never compromise on security. Every transaction is monitored, every game is certified fair, and your personal information stays confidential.
Time matters. That is why we process withdrawals in minutes, not days. Our platform loads instantly on mobile and desktop, and our support team responds within seconds.
Every decision we make starts with one question: does this benefit our players? From competitive odds to generous VIP rewards, we put your experience above everything else.
We are not a generic offshore site. We understand Indonesian players: BCA/BRI/Mandiri deposits, BRI Liga 1 coverage, Asian Handicap markets, and native Indonesian-speaking support.
All our games use certified Random Number Generators. We publish RTP percentages, explain bonus terms clearly, and never hide behind fine print. What you see is what you get.
Gambling should be entertainment, not a problem. We provide self-exclusion tools, deposit limits, reality checks, and support resources. If you need help, we are here 24/7.
